Not sure I agree. I think Sterling is the better player who has had a bigger impact over the years
Getting £50m for a player who will walk for nothing at the end of the season is definitely a win regardless

Chelsea continue to pursue a possible deal for Sterling this summer.
Perhaps they are receiving encouragement. Strange.

I don’t see it as strange, said last week that other than Real Madrid it was the only place I could see him end up. Most of their forward line has underperformed. They will pay the wage he wants and they tick all the other boxes he’d no doubt require, imo.Chelsea continue to pursue a possible deal for Sterling this summer.

So looks like bazunu is off to Saints, £12mil + £4mil add ons, with a buyback clause
Another brilliant example of the CFG doing its job...yet we won't get praise for it, this will be straight profit too as he cost like £400k which was a few years ago
In: £51mil
Haaland £51mil
Out: £20mil
Bazunu £12mil (£16mil)
Porro £8mil
Wasn't Alvarez about £14m?So looks like bazunu is off to Saints, £12mil + £4mil add ons, with a buyback clause

would rather take £60m this summer than lose him on a free to be honest.

That is true, but technically he signed in Jan, we just loaned him back...it wasn't a deal where he would "sign in the summer", so we already started paying for him in Jan so thats why I didn't include itWasn't Alvarez about £14m?

Imagine the dipper reaction when they realise how massive a rebuild they need after losing Mane for £40mil and potentially Salah for free while we are here signing Haaland, Phillips, Cucurella and posting a profitAfter winning the PL, it will be nice to add another title ( The Net spending Trophy )

Would be very odd for City to sell to a rival but maybe the cash and the player pushing for it would seal something :/Chelsea continue to pursue a possible deal for Sterling this summer.

I think most would. We don't usually sell to rivals, but the reality is decent transfer fees generally come from other Premier League clubs.
Jesus is the bargain of the window, outside of us signing Haaland for £51.4m.
£50m for Jesus?
His age, his lower wages, his winning pedigree, his talent, his first-class attitude, a Brazil international?
And he can walk on water!!
If City were trying to sign him I would be excited and the price would be £75m.
Why do you see it as strange? I’d have thought if that’s the only way we can generate a decent fee then we wouldn’t be averse to it, and I do think Raz would be happy enough with them as an option for change of scenery. We will see I suppose over next couple of weeks as it certainly won’t be one we will want dragging out.Strange as in they are getting encouragement, whether from us or the player.
