So looks like bazunu is off to Saints, £12mil + £4mil add ons, with a buyback clause

Another brilliant example of the CFG doing its job...yet we won't get praise for it, this will be straight profit too as he cost like £400k which was a few years ago

I want him to stay more than Jesus personally coz he is different to our other attackers despite our frustration with him

IF he does go, really hope its to Europe.

The London factor maybe the reason why Chelsea are pushing

I don’t see it as strange, said last week that other than Real Madrid it was the only place I could see him end up. Most of their forward line has underperformed. They will pay the wage he wants and they tick all the other boxes he’d no doubt require, imo.

After winning the PL, it will be nice to add another title ( The Net spending Trophy )

Wasn't Alvarez about £14m?
 
I was always happy for one of Raheem / Gabby / Mahrez to leave, as none are guaranteed starts so if one goes it doesn't chance much epsriclaly with Haaland in the door, this guy is going to get goals after goals after goals

But losing two would be a bit of a blow

Problem is neither Jesus or Raheem seem like they want a bit part role so neither appear to want to renew

So we either keep then and let them walk for free or get a fee

Gabby for £50mil is fair price

Given what he's achieved, I'd say Raheem should demand £60mil as he is probably worth more but his wages will be hard for clubs to cover

Strange as in they are getting encouragement, whether from us or the player.

Imagine the dipper reaction when they realise how massive a rebuild they need after losing Mane for £40mil and potentially Salah for free while we are here signing Haaland, Phillips, Cucurella and posting a profit

not just the fee but the wages saved and can be invested as well? I dont see next season being any different for sterling to be honest and i just think his time here has come to an end? His performances were pretty average last season for the majority of things and it does seem that behind the scenes pep doesnt have the faith in him he used to. I do hope though if sterling and jesus leave we would go and get someone in?
 
Jesus is the bargain of the window, outside of us signing Haaland for £51.4m.

£50m for Jesus?

His age, his lower wages, his winning pedigree, his talent, his first-class attitude, a Brazil international?

And he can walk on water!!

If City were trying to sign him I would be excited and the price would be £75m.

Why do you see it as strange? I’d have thought if that’s the only way we can generate a decent fee then we wouldn’t be averse to it, and I do think Raz would be happy enough with them as an option for change of scenery. We will see I suppose over next couple of weeks as it certainly won’t be one we will want dragging out.
