While there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it does allow for comparison with a vast majority of our other first team players and how often they are seen like this.....maybe they are just better at hiding it however?

Grealish = clicks = ad revenue

He sells, therefore they’re looking for stories to run. It seems Haaland likes to enjoy his down time too, in fact there’s a video of him in the club after his last Dortmund match, but I didn’t see a red top story on that.

Well if he carries on doing it now he is our player you will.
As fine as it is, Grealish does himself no favours when seen like this.

Like I said, he’s on holiday. He isn’t breaking the law or infringing upon contractual obligations, he’s simply enjoying a drink with mates after winning a league title.

Couldn't give a damn what he does in the off season, just needs to come back fully refreshed and ready for an important season ahead of him personally.

Yet lots of our other players are not pictured in this way....sure they are all on holiday celebrating winning the league title.
We all know how the media works. Pictures like this will be used against him in the future.
And that's before the suggestion that he is cheating on his partner again

Compare and contrast.

Two players for the same club and country, of a similar age, on off-season holidays with their mates (and without their girlfriends - when both players have a history of alleged infidelity) featured in the same newspaper within a couple of days of each other.

The Grealish story is all about the details of what he's getting up to, highlighting the drinking and the spending and the hi-jinks, using pictures from his friends' social media accounts and comments from an unnamed source.

The Stones story is a vessel for a few paparazzi pictures, a summary of recent footballing events and a round-up of other footballers' holidays.

No doubt they're digging for dirt on Jack because he has a celebrity status that sells papers.

"Grealish" and "holiday" generates clicks from people looking to be amused or outraged by the antics of an extravagant party animal.

"Stones" and "holiday" generates clicks from people browsing for football news and/or fans of bare abs.

Doesn't matter if they're doing the same things, the narrative is different because the paper is casting a wide net for customers.

As long as he's not doing anything that'll get him into trouble and he sobers up in time for pre-season then I think we're all good.

Front page of the Sun is a bit much for just going on the piss in vegas on his holidays. As for the girl, do we know he was up to no good there (the pic on the front page of the sun looks like she might just have been walking past for all anyone knows)?

Obviously it isn't preferable as I'm sure we'd all like our players to live like monks, but I'm not overly fussed about him on the piss in the off season myself. That said would be nice if he took roy keane's advice and 'stayed off the top shelf'.

The blokes in that picture are his security I think, so I guess the assumption is they're leaving together because otherwise she wouldn't have got between him and them.

Then again, I guess he takes security with him to keep him safe rather than to stop him from interacting with people or stop members of the public from walking past, so I'm not sure how convincing that is.

They certainly don't look particularly close though, and it seems weird that either they or security are smart enough to say "there's photographers here, so act like you don't know each other on the escalator" but not "let's leave separately and meet up discreetly".

All for him having some downtime before pre-season starts but really hope he cuts out these antics and focuses on his football starting next season.

Compare and contrast him with our other players and there’s quite a big difference in terms of professionalism and how they conduct themselves off the pitch.
