Pep clearly doesn't think it's an issue. I can't remember the last time I saw Sterling use any of his pace tbh. That's not how we play.because it is incredibly stupid to lose pace on one of the wing.
I think that's the plan. I also think it's a mistake.I reckon internally that we will be thinking Palmer is ready to play more, we have gained Alvarez and Haaland. This allows Foden to go back out on the left or right.
Don't see any real issues. I reckon it's been well accepted in the club that Jesus and Sterling would go. Not sure why people are acting surprised now.
Fair point but if Sterling and Jesus leave that's 30 goals and 19 assists from last season we have to replace.
Not going to happen but Son Heung-Min would be a quality signing.
Aston Villa to help us win the league.Pep clearly doesn't think it's an issue. I can't remember the last time I saw Sterling use any of his pace tbh. That's not how we play.
Don't underestimate how fast Foden and Haaland are also.
What’s the point in taking his huge wage off the books if that money isn’t being used to replace him?Have to take into account with Sterling is the huge wage which will come off the books. Think City, imo, are keen to move him on.
Well we will see. Pep is normally right, so we have to trust him.I think that's the plan. I also think it's a mistake.
Remember when we replaced Sane with Torres? Completely different players and we suffered as a result. Haaland is absolutely rapid, but at this rate he'll have no fucker able to keep up with him.
I think you have to replace Sterling like for like.
Suffered may be extreme, but we haven't hit the heights of our attacking play since Sane was injured and then sold.Well we will see. Pep is normally right, so we have to trust him.
I'd back Haaland to break away and score.
(Oh Erling Haaland I think we should pay him some more!)
We lost Sane and replaced him, went on and won several more trophies and got to a CL final. "Suffered" is a bit extreme.
Pep changes things around, we had out and out pace for years and now we have gone more technical and slow.
Now we are bringing in a monster of a ST, so we are going to change again. It's all an evolution.
Who says it isn’t?What’s the point in taking his huge wage off the books if that money isn’t being used to replace him?
Creating space to cross to Gundo to help win us the league against Villa ?Pep clearly doesn't think it's an issue. I can't remember the last time I saw Sterling use any of his pace tbh. That's not how we play.

Me either, it's a dumb move to have so many with one year left but here we are. Not getting good money now would be absolutely stupid.
Beat me to itAston Villa to help us win the league.
