Fckin fashion policeWearing flares is a bit 89-91 but to fine the poor **** and ban him for 3 years is wildly disproportionate imo.

Where’s the humour in throwing a flare on the pitch when we still needed to score a fucking goal?Wow. There are some humourless cunts on here.
Not disproportionate enough for me.Seems hugely disproportionate to me.
How long do you think a ban for throwing a flare on the pitch should be?Not disproportionate enough for me.
Think it’s the dog with a line through it.I didn’t see ‘no petting’ on that sign??
Same as similar incidents elsewhere. I read recently I can’t find or think where about the PFA being unhappy with any encroachment by fans, objects etc and quoting uk workplace safely regulations. Would be expecting more and more of this type of sentence.Seems hugely disproportionate to me.
Yeah, I guess there’s a precedent there. Still seems wrong though that this guy is facing the same ban as the guy who made monkey gestures at Fred at The Etihad.Same as similar incidents elsewhere. Agreed but I reckon the genie is out of the bottle on these incidents and add to that the dipper shitshow in France.. and tabloid headlines about football returning to the dark old days etc. PL and teams , including ours will not want English fan behaviour to be used as a stick to threaten bans from the money printer or to “sully” the product for big money sponsors etc. I was quite shocked at the end of our last game V Villa when I watched it later on TV and saw Laporte. He honestly looked terrified.Yeah, I guess there’s a precedent there. Still seems wrong though that this guy is facing the same ban as the guy who made monkey gestures at Fred at The Etihad.
