Mixed feelings on this one. At his best he was excellent but then he could be frustratingly average. Don’t like strengthening other prem teams and I have no doubt he will do very well for next season or two but then more likely to be like he was for us. Hope he’s injured when we play Chelsea.
Got to assume selling him and Jesus is to fund a replacement.

Yep the money used will be used for both Phillips and Cucuarella. Haaland (along with our current lot) will replace both Jesus and Sterling. We might bring in an extra CB (if available) to replace Ake.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ake stays put. Chelsea are lowballing.. and although letting Sterling go would have made sense.. it makes zero sense to let Ake go without a good profit.

Well if what you read online is true and not accounting for bonuses, the top PL wages are apparently; PR7 on 500k+, KdB around 400k, DeGea 375k, Sancho 350k, Salads new contract was for 350k+.
So if what Matt Law says is right that would be around 375-400k, which is like 100k more than his current contract with us i believe.

Funny how when we pay top dollar for KDB and Haaland we're ruining football but when any other club does it it's because they mean business.

How exciting that we have Haaland who can help us gain new support in Norway because apparently that’s what matters these days eh.One of my favourite players, he was a character. Single-handedly responsible for making us the most supported team in Jamaica. Hugely influential on and off the pitch for us, I'll miss him :(

I’m thrilled we are becoming more popular abroad but we’re teetering on sounding like rags and scousers by stating how popular we are in x country. It’s very much something you hear on social media.It isn't, but don't underestimate support from abroad. That's what the club is about - genuine support, no matter where you come from.

They've paid 50m when they had no competition for his signature and could've got him for nothing in 12 months. I would hardly call that very tidy business. Well, for us it is.
Sad to see him go but Txiki has done very well there.
Wasn't he valued upward of 100M two years back with links to Madrid popping up. He was in the Neymar Hazard debates, he fell off mad.
