Not sure I agree with that. I think all 3 of them are first choice centre backs. Stones and Dias being my preferred starters

If/when Mahrez extends his contract, the club will have dealt with 3 of the 4 players whose contract would have run out next year. 2 sold, 1 extended, 1 possibly leaving on a free. Given that one is Gundogan who is the oldest and had the cheapest transfer fee, that is all round really good business.

Why would we sell a very good player like Aké for a carthorse like Ben Mee? It wouldn’t make any sense.

We can’t weaken the squad, we need a player who doesn’t make us dodgy at the back when called upon.

Come to think of it Aké is perfect for us I‘ve no idea why we agreed to sell him and putting ourselves in this position at all.

Why not just tell the chavs to fuck off? It’s not like they’re some big club who are a step up from us is it. Why aren’t they trying to bid for Matip or Gomez from the scousers, why do the chav cunts think we’re a soft touch. Really fucking annoys me, and them getting Sterling, feels like fucking 2006 or something.

Something a bit more in it all for me,the sterling deal still not completed,supposedly well down the line for Ake,then tenuous links to Laporte as well,it’s the yank owner why would he go near a fellow yanks team red scousers or even the rags,plenty of options out there but I just feel something not right about this prick and these transfers,throw in that sterling is apparently heading off to the states with or to meet up with Chelsea and the deal hasn’t even been completed yet all very strange ..

Leipzig don’t need to sell. No one has put forward a serious offer for him. Also he’s happy at Leipzig. Chelsea apparently offered 55 million and Leipzig laughed at it. Bayern were looking at him in January But nothing came of it. Even though he’s happy he does think if City came calling hed jump at the chance.

Think it might come down to if he believes he’ll get the playing time.
