Formula 1 2022

Great to see Lewis ignoring Verstappen, a bit like the rest of the paddock

Christ, did Verstappen win or something?
Coultard got his giant chin up Verstappen's arse.
Sky is no longer the place to watch and will be finding myself a new channel. They’ve been up Red Bulls are for a while now and the mundane way that they talked of the LeClerc overtake was ridiculous.

Sky loved the cheating last season, definitely not for me anymore.

Do Comcast have shares in Liberty Media or the other way around?

It does come across as Partizan unlike the official F1 Coverage I see on You Tube, which can be very technical and the presenters aren't the best personality wise.

Congrats to LeClerc and Ferrari. It could still be turning in to an exciting title race.
Verstappen happy to take 2nd place when you know there is not more to gain. You could see the respect both drivers have towards each other.

Pity the Dutch “ fans” misbehaved. Always a a small number spoiling it. Verstappen was right to disapprove, and so was Hamilton.
I doubt these morons will learn. They’re not even interested in the race. Just get wasted and misbehave.

Every race they do little interviews with Horner to “get Christian’s view from the pit wall” mid race. Does my head in that.

Fair enough if they did it with all the teams, but they don’t. It’s clear Red Bull really like the visibility and PR but it comes across very biased on TV.

No idea but they all seem to be interlinked in some way.

It’s clear to me that Sky have their favourite and promote accordingly. Red Bull are the Rags of F1, Dippers are Ferrari, we must be Mercedes. The rest are just there to make up the places, a bit like Stoke used to be viewed.

Ever considered the others won’t have anything to do with Sky?

To be fair, at least when they get Horner on they do actually get a view. They had the team principal from Alpine I think it was this weekend and he was painful. Abrupt to the point of almost rude with his answers.

Tbh if I had to work with Fernando Alonso every day I’d be in a perpetual bad mood as well.

Ha fair point. I actually like Alonso, he's one of my favourite drivers but you do get the impression he's probably quite 'demanding' when it comes to his requirements
Same. He’s a brilliant driver who deserves to have more championships to his name but he does seem like a bitter, curmudgeonly pain in the arse.

The opposite of Jenson Button in that respect. He really should have won another championship or two but he strikes me as a thoroughly polite guy.

No Spa next year apparently, but at least Monaco will remain forever.

Replaced by some street race in Las Vegas where you won’t be able to pass and a bumpy track? Last two races on old school circuits where it’s wide open and built for racing have produced some very good racing, more of this please.
