Maybe time for city to complain to la liga :-)Not sure how they’re not being investigated. Players with unpaid deferred wages yet they’re spunking €75m on a player and bidding €55m for another
This break the internet signing, or really big deal, or whatever anyone wants to call it….
Well, there isn’t anyone really.
All the big names in football are old, have baggage or we don’t need them.
The only new big names are Haaland and Mbappe and we just bought one of them.
Can anyone give me a name of someone that 90% of City fans would be over the moon with and that this forum would blow up?
Only one I’ve not seen at all this week in training is Rodri. Extended his contract though.
Back up left back and Swiss Army KnifeSo, if we are getting this Cucurella guy, what's the plan for Zinchenko ?
I still think that there is not that much difference in terms of quality between these two..
Maybe Cucurella is better defensively, but Zinchenko possesses the ball better, knows Pep's system better, plays better offensively and is more versatile..
And also 50m is too much, FFS we sold Jesus for that money and Haaland fee was 60m, we are getting robbed here :(
I can’t see him being the one we go for personally. We sign him and we are signing a centre back that is mistake prone, physically bullied and does not deal very well under pressure. Villarreals entire defensive system has masked his mistakes and of how average a player he is. He’s a shit version of Laporte
No real need for all those extra words and certainly no need to use laporte as a benchmark. He’s shit
It will only hurt for a minute, Tony.He was probably pillaging a local village. Please God no raping though.
Zinchenko is an able deputy, not for the long haul. Don't let the villa assist cloud that. So, if we are getting this Cucurella guy, what's the plan for Zinchenko ?

£55m for Torres tooIf Ake goes for £50m then City finally have turned a corner on getting great deals on player sales. We have already done good business tith some academy players, throw in £45m for Jesus, £50m for Sterling and £50m for Ake and that is three we have made money on as well as benefitting from a successful time whilst they were with us, and looking capable of managing without them if we really have to.
People see Haaland as Aguero's replacement but we won the league and were 5 minutes away from the CL final without him in the squad last season. So if you take Haaland and Alvarez as Jesus and Sterling's replacements, we are doing okay and are looking very likely to take home the big one...the one that means more....the net spend trophy!
Hopefully a couple of new surprises still to come in. Cucurella would be a brilliant signing, and having added some more bite and energy in Philipps too we are definitelt a stronger proposition. A wildcard winger would be good fun though.
Cucurella is miles ahead offensively. So, if we are getting this Cucurella guy, what's the plan for Zinchenko ?

Can’t disagree too much here. A little harsh maybe but I certainly wouldn’t want this. If it happened I’d back Pep to get a good player out of him still. We sign him and we are signing a centre back that is mistake prone, physically bullied and does not deal very well under pressure. So what you saying, feigning injury already.Didn’t train, he was in Sainsburys buying ketchup, pedal bins and and wine glasses instead

My point is that if we don't sign a cb to replace Ake its not the end of the world that some people are predicting before the window opens again in January.
If two of Stones/Dias/Laporte picks up minor injuries during the world cup then we won't be flapping about who's playing in Central defence because City won't be playing so in a way its a relief.

Jesus, last year of contract. Haaland, clause. Robbed? Get real
Next door neighbour is a manager there and said he posed for photos with staff and customers, bet he doesn’t pop there too often mind.Didn’t train, he was in Sainsburys buying ketchup, pedal bins and and wine glasses instead
