I also read somewhere that Barca are waiting for their accounting year to end next week and that could free up more funds?

Reading on their financial status it seems fairly impossible they sign any player but you're right, I did not expect them to sign Raphinha and they did. Still got Lewa and Kounde on their list, still have to rid of a few players, so I'd be surprised if it was that easy of an agreement. That Romero guy seems to be a top waffler, may have connections but he connects obvious dots to make up rumours too.

He was alright was gus. Bit sensitive like but he was pretty decent.

Always had massive appreciation for Neymar's style of play, much less so of his theatrics and some of the bells and whistles that he comes with. 30yrs old so perhaps there is a maturity there now (I've not seen much of Ligue 1 over the past couple of seasons). Given the departures we've had, relatively easy to see how he could fit into the team, if we can get him for a decent deal.

Well I don't know about that, but it is certainly the case Chelsea approached him and PSG.

Chelsea and London would normally be a very big pull, unless...

A) Neymar is not going anywhere and has zero intention of leaving.

B) He wants to play for Pep.


He's a couple years younger than when we tried to sign Messi, so perhaps the melt the internet signing has been him all along?

Be careful of confirmation bias, however?

Pogba was an opportunity which simply presented itself because it was brought up during the Haaland negotiations at the start of February.

It would need a similar opportunity to arise.
