Bernie is 80-100 mill easy
If sterling goes which I hope he does then no way silva goes this summer . Next summer 100 percent he goes though .Cucurell and phillips will definitely happen I'm pretty sure now. But, I also think sterling may go to Chelsea if they can get lukaku out on loan to inter as looks likely and Jesus joins arsenal. Bernardo going also would mean a lot of change. Frustrating cuz I love the team City have now and change while exciting doesn't necessarily mean improvement
The situation as of now however is, we don't want Frenkie and wouldn't pay near what Barca want for him. A swap makes no sense for either club. Barca's objective is to get money from Frenkie that helps them with the financials, then that money can be reinvested, so we're out the race already. Now if Bernardo does want to leave, they'll have to put up near 100m euros and structure it in a way that doesn't affect their books. If they do that, I don't think we'll stand in his way to move.If Bernardo now is adamant on moving and Barca have the cash I can see City changing their minds on De Jong and taking him plus dough
Other than Cucurella and Phillips City would need two more players just to replace Sterling and Bernardo... doesn’t seem viable nor like City wouldn’t have planned against that. I can see everything being done, in and out, after jesus leaves and those two joinCucurell and phillips will definitely happen I'm pretty sure now. Potentially one of the worst windows city has ever done. Going from a thin squad to the same amount but with lesser playersThe situation as of now however is, we don't want Frenkie and wouldn't pay near what Barca want for him. The only question is, will we go out and get a replacement? I don't believe so, I think we'll go as it is and Phillips + Cucurella will be our final business for the summer. Maybe if Raheem also leaves it could change.
I thought they were only allowed to use a certain % of sales towards new signings. Like 10% or 20% of every 10mThe situation as of now however is, we don't want Frenkie and wouldn't pay near what Barca want for him. A swap makes no sense for either club. One maybe if FDJ goes , not bothWith the greatest of respect they weren't supposed to have the cash for torres or for any of their signings over the past 2 years. Plus, all top barca sources saying frenkie is still for sale. His sale + this deal gives them the movement for bernardo and lewandowksi appaz
Palmer is physically more able than Foden was when being introduced, I don't think you can directly compare. They'll deal with each player on an individual basis.Palmer is an outstanding talent but he won’t start most games he will get 5 mins maybe 10 mins at the end of a game. The Same way Foden did at the start. This is, what Palmers second season with the first team fully. I think fans that think he’s going to get loads of game time need to be a bit more realistic.
he will get minutes here and there. Sub appearances. Cup games that’s how Pep inter grated Foden over time until he was fully ready etc You definitely have to replace either Sterling and Jesus due to their output over a season, Sterling no matter what people think has chipped in with important goals and assists , Jesus the same. Going into a season not replacing two important players would be ridiculous and bad planning
