Can we all just leave it now ffs.
You have taken 'got rid of' far too literallyDespite the fact that there are a lot of posters here that are seemingly glad to be rid of him because of his erratic performances of the last couple of years or so, the truth is that it was Sterling himself that wanted away. If he had wanted to stay he probably would be here now.
It's not BM posters that have got rid of Sterling as you imply, it was Sterling that got rid of Sterling.
I'd do it now, while he's gaining all his swanky new Kings Road followers, he won't notice the departures! When is it OK to hit the unfollow button on his instagram? Asking for a friend.
I'd just guess at finding somebody to replace his 13 goals and 8 assists from his shite season last year would be a start.
Third top scorer, and again during his couldn't give a fuck for the club stage.
I like Jack and I hope he steps up and provides the numbers Sterling has provided throughout his career here, it would be a huge stretch to believe Alvarez and Palmer will deliver instantly, I really hope they do.
We actually scored more goals-per-game last season in games Sterling took no part in than per 90 minutes with him on or games he started.
Games Sterling took no part in: 2.87 goals per game
Goals per 90 minutes Sterling was on the pitch: 2.71 goals per 90mins
Games Sterling started: 2.56 goals per game
Our goals were not affected when Sterling was not there, we just shared them around the team more. So we don’t really have to replace his goals now he’s gone if we just do what we did without him last season.

You are not wrong.I am sure that stat comparison was used about Aguero and Jesus btw ;)
Cheers, with my memory I thought I might have made it up lolYou are not wrong.
One high profile poster on the early "sell Aguero" bandwagon had a spreadsheet that "proved" we were better off when he played than didn't :)

Asked how quickly he asked new owner Todd Boehly to land Sterling, Tuchel added: “He was top of the list. He was the absolute number one for that position. I gave his name to Todd straight away, as we analysed the season, Todd and Behdad Eghbali, our owners, in the first week after the end of the season.
“I was not surprised we could get him. On a one-year contract you always have a chance and you can always have a go. It’s the same for us. Sometimes you have to make strategic decisions. When we were aware of it for us it was clear that we would try.”
Sterling was man of the match last time Tuchel faced Sterling in the 1-0 City win in January
Definitely a level below them. Gave us 6 of his best years and had some great moments and some poor ones but he always gave his all which is a credit to him. Good deal for all concerned I think.A level below that I think. Still class though
Iranian born, moved to the USA when he was 10 and is a co-founder of Clearlake so you could say he's done well for himself.Arab Co-owner?
