Imagine being arsed
Agreed, and many of these autographed shirts go straight on ebay.I'm not going to get too worked up over that. I thank him for his years of service with us. But he's gone now, we move on. And I can see why he did what he did. If he'd signed a Liverpool shirt days after joining us, we wouldn't have been too happy, would we?
Not sure that’s quite true mateNow he's finally left I can say hand on heart I have never rated him as a player. His first touch is awful and I used to nearly cry with frustration seeing him name on the teamsheet. I honestly think he was a plague on the squad he killed so many attacks with his terrible first touch. Some of the misses just beggared belief it was consistent every single week aswell. Doesn't surprise me to see his shirt non signing actions as he was always disrespectful with a chip on his shoulder. Never saw him involved in any City in the community stuff and I thought appearing on the front page of Marca in a real madrid scarf was incredibly disrespectful to the City fans.
I was only marginally less excited to see his stupid face in a Chelsea shirt than I was signing Haaland. I've never been one to slag City players but I have being holding my tongue on Raheem for years and Im relieved to finally speak freely about him. Absolutely bobbins and I hope his career spirals into obscurity.
Grown arse men being bothered about a footballer refusing to sign a shirt - on a fucking TikTok video of all things - need to have a long hard look at how your lives are panning out.
Yes those 131 goals really fucked up our trophy chances in those seasons.I honestly think he was a plague on the squad

That sound scouse but I know you are a Manchester City Blue. Now he's finally left I can say hand on heart I have never rated him as a player. Was this really such a big deal?
Post of the thread. Sums it all up perfectly. Played for us. Won and provided 11 trophies. Went for pretty much the same fee. A servant here to ply his trade and nothing more.Don’t know about big deal, but City certainly got the best deal
Sterling played a big part in our success and I thank him for his efforts. But as you say he won't be viewed as a legend by the fans, but I still hope be receives a decent reception if he plays at the Etihad next season.More accurate.
Works both ways, too. As soon as he signed for them I started following Sociedad social media to check on Merlin’s time there. Same with Kompany. Loving that Zabba is on the tour to the States.
Couldn’t care less what Sterling does. I wish him well though. He served us in his prime and contributed. He doesn’t see the club like the legends do, and that’s fair enough. Us as fans don’t see him in the way we see said legends. Also fair enough.

Certainly did.. I thought that Sterling’s comment that he can still achieve more things with his move to Chelsea. I can’t see him winning the CL anytime soon and he ain’t winning the WC with Southgate in charge.Don’t know about big deal, but City certainly got the best deal
I think it’s a case of all parties being happy with this deal, but yeah I would definitely be happy if we signed Sterling for just under £50m, get 7 top class years out of him and then sell him for just under £50m again. Smashing return on that investment.
You just know what some utter muppets are going to do this. Embarassing.Usual suspects will love this.
Will be funny to hear some of our lot boo him like Liverpool fans do and then say "Oh but our reasons for booing him are totally justified".
Did you see them winning the Champions league 2 seasons back?Certainly did.. I thought that Sterling’s comment that he can still achieve more things with his move to Chelsea. I can’t see him winning the CL anytime soon and he ain’t winning the WC with Southgate in charge.
