Raheem Sterling | Arsenal Player (on loan)

Try naming your cat James Milner.
I remember during the inflatable banana craze I said I would name my banana after the next goalscorer for us and my mate said he would take the goal afterwards. He got Banana Varadi - which is fine. I ended up with Banana Spearing. He was the Leicester left back and scored a bloody own goal for us

Easy for you to say, I've got this in the bog!

Do you find that when you are standing directly infront of the toilet, that when you piss you miss the bowl completely?

mither

literally a replacement for the word 'bother'
'He's a mithering twat'
'There was some mither in pub last night'
'Don't mither me, I'm busy'

From the Urban Dictionary, made me laugh

Surprised me a few years back when I discovered this word is not known outside the North West especially London

“For me, when you say a legend, for me [Sergio] Agüero, [David] Silva, [Vincent] Kompany, those guys are on a different level," the Argentine told Sky Sports. "That's why that they are having statues outside of the club. "But Raheem, he's been great. We wish him, of course, all the best. It seems that obviously he's with one of them that's a big contender for the Premier League. As I say, I just wish him all the best, he's a great lad. "But Man City is always the most important thing for the fans, for the players, and when you come to this club, you have to give 100 per cent respect and the moment that you leave you always need to talk nicely to the club you've been playing for. I wish he could behave in that way."

Well said Zabba.

A player who always gives 100% , doesnt hide when he missed chances and has proved a brilliant signing, i can understand his desire to play every week and be a first choice for the big games but unfortunately with the depth of our squad it was never going to happen under Pep, all our players have to accept rotation.
One thing is for sure , he will get a heroes welcome when he returns in a Chelsea shirt unlike the feral scum from his previous club who hounded and hated him for years , our supporters are class and appreciate a player who gave his all in our colours , a great signing for the Londoners and at £50m a real bargain.

State of this thread. Meanwhile Zinchenko thread is full of nothing but teary eyed praise.

Both had their good points, both had their bad points, both seem to be level headed and humble persons.

I wish both of them the best of luck, they both go with my thanks and appreciation for their contributions to the insane achievements of this club over the last years.

Both will get a standing round of applause on their return.
