Got to be said,a very shrewd bit of business by our Club.
I wish him well obviously as we all should.
However.... personally even though he has been contributing , i feel he has been in slow decline for a couple of seasons.And this is the only reason we are moving him on, and cashing in on a depreciating value asset.
I wouldn't be surprised at all, if this move turns in to a bit of disaster for him.With the weight of expectation becoming a burden.
Will the Chelsea fans give him time.

I think he’ll do better at Chelsea than the last few years with us because teams don’t sit back against Chelsea as much as they do against us so there’ll be more broken and open fields to play against for him.

I thought Raheem's move from Liverpool to City went pretty wellOut of interest, can anyone remember the last time a domestic rival signed another club's star players where almost everyone agreed it was a good financial and sporting deal for everyone involved??

Yes, he still appears to be a goal keeping coach here along with Xabier Mancisidor. Kevin isn't quite last man standing from that lot.You could say that Richard Wright is still at the club

Depends on your definition of a legend. Scored more than twice as many goals and won the league four times more than Mike Summerbee. Both wingers and Summerbee is definitely regarded as a legendAll the best? Yes, sure.

I have to admit I feel quite torn about this transfer. If he doesn't hit the heights of previous seasons it will look good business. However, he's only 27 and I think Raz has the mentality, determination and desire to regain his top form. Sometimes you need a change of scenery to do that! If he does, I think we might regret selling him to a rival. Shame we couldn't have sold him abroad at least.
Anyway I wish him all the best.
