I hope Haaland and Alvarez are impressed with the atmosphere at the Etihad next season? After playing for Dortmund (the Yellow Wall) and River Plate (the whole stadium singing), I’m sure they will be impressed with the atmosphere at the Etihad this season. ;-)
Even Kalvin Phillips has come from a set of fans where the whole stadium sing all game n’all.I hope Haaland and Alvarez are impressed with the atmosphere at the Etihad next season? May take them some time.I hope Haaland and Alvarez are impressed with the atmosphere at the Etihad next season? After playing for Dortmund (the Yellow Wall) and River Plate (the whole stadium singing), I’m sure they will be impressed with the atmosphere at the Etihad this season. ;-)
Great post.I thought our fans were brilliant yesterday. Seemed like we completely outnumbered them in the city centre before the game.
In the stadium I thought our fans were consistently louder and sang for longer than them (despite having less to sing about).
Their fans are good after they score or when the full time whistle goes. But throughout the game Liverpool fans are among the worst in the Prem.
Donut on Itv was even congratuating the Liverpool fans for singing about SlippyG haahaGreat post.
Agree with what you have written 100%.
I particularly enjoyed singing " You nearly won the league" on numerous occasions.
Along with the Slippy G song ,and the Edin Dzêko song as they are both about winning the league title when Liverpool were our competition.
He was also bring flippant about the National Anthem being disrespected by them.Donut on Itv was even congratuating the Liverpool fans for singing about SlippyG haaha
Pockets of blues sang the anthem in response to them booing it. Like you I’m no royalist but I’d sing it to drown out their entitled boos.He was also bring flippant about the National Anthem being disrespected by them.
I'm no royalist, sit down if I'm stood at Wembley while it's being done etc but there's a line which they cross which is never their fault.
Train strikeffsTo be fair, I'd imagine the first few games will be great. Bournemouth at home being a 3pm and Haalands home debut should be good. Not quite River Plate mind
My ERO has just compiled a list of words that my grandson can say. Every time he sees a certain crest he says CITY, if yer point to a colour he will say BLUE!City! City! City! :-)
