Did he hand in a transfer request? I honestly don't remember.
A transfer request essentially does nothing except help with optics for the selling club, but he did say he wanted to leave

The attitude from the fans seems to be , we have Haaland now, we can sell some key players and let others fill in here and there when needed
Madness really. If we get an injury at the back we cannot rely on Ake’s poor injury record. Phillips at centre back in one first 5 league games
I'm guessing he means the Chelsea linksNot at all mate
Yep!a flapper
Rags?it will bite us on the arse
rags, spuds and arse will all significantly improve and are ready to go
Agreed Cancelo against the better teams is sometimes found out and goes awol. Disappointed we didn't seal the Cucurella deal as he would give the balance the side needs both defensively and going forward. This is spot on
pep says in the media we are OK if we don't sign a left back, but the truth is clear we are short of a left back and the BIGGER teams will see it as our weakness and hurt us, wilson esbrand is an option, but again pep would never throw him in the deep end and play him as our main left back because of his age
just go a rewatch the Liverpool game from the weekend our defence at times got found out down the left
I never fancy cancelo playing left back in the bigger games and even the left centre back covers far too much because cancelo pushes up far too much and sometimes forget his defences' duty
According to Transfermarkt he’s missed 25 games in 2 seasons. Not counting the last couple games of season when on bench but clearly not fit.Is Ake’s injury record that bad?
Why do we have to make do with all these makeshifts though? It’s like when people say stones can play right back. Technically he can as he’s a right footed professional defender. Doesnt mean he does it well or doesn’t disrupt our attacking flow. Full backs are key in this side, it’s why that second summer we went balls deep on upgrading them which is why I find it so odd we’ve just happily ignored the left back position and happily just throw anyone with a left foot there.Rags?
Did you mean Chavs?
Worst case for us is that we have to give JWE (Joshua Wilson-Esbrand) a decent run. How bad can he be. And if he is shit then we might have to play some other kid in a few games. I'm ok with it. Odds are the kids are alright.
All of them.So he's signing for Chelsea? What media outlet have suggested that?
Makeshift? Wilson-Esbrand is an actual left back. Why do we have to make do with all these makeshifts though? It’s like when people say stones can play right back. Literally most of themSo he's signing for Chelsea? What media outlet have suggested that?
Cucurella is obviously a top target then? What would you call the player City signs, IF they sign a fullback?
A left back who probably isn’t ready or good enough. But I know our youth are the best players ever on this forumMakeshift? Wilson-Esbrand is an actual left back.
Others may say we lacked an almost entire first choice defenceSome may say we lacked a goal scorer in the CL semi final.
