The High Court judge effectively gave a "put up or shut up message" at the last hearing. She addressed concern at the delay to lawyers from both sides. I think there is a good chance the whole investigation will be "timed out." Remember that it is considering complaints about our accounts dating back to 2011. Judges are not usually stupid people and can see through the politics of cases like this.
Personally I think that, like UEFA who had no evidence, the PL will be happy for the case to collapse. It gets them off the hook with the Cartel clubs and allows them to claim that "City got off on a technicality."

Difference is though, the PL have access to all of the emails as per the court order in 2021. UEFA only had the Der Speigel leaks believe it or not, & DS actually declined to give them anything further that hadn’t been published is my understanding.

I do think the PL will charge us at some point given how long this has dragged on, can’t see how it just goes away. What severity of charge and if it will/can stick is anyones guess. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the club/league do some sort of out of arbitration settlement to put it to bed.

There is absolutely no chance the Premier league will be taking any action , they would have been forensically examining our acccounts for years and they have found nothing

The problem is that City's lawyers have been spinning things out as well. I suspect both sides just want it to go away. The hate campaign against City will continue in any event. Being cleared by CAS didn't stop it.

It's a fair point but is there really anything in the new emails. Surely if there was some damning evidence against City it would have surfaced by now. If the PL don't have enough evidence after three years will they ever?
I think there were allegations about breaching rules on recruiting young players (which all clubs do). We may get charged with this and pay a small fine. But all the substantial claims about our accounts being false are just a pile of shite. UEFA didn't find any evidence because there was no evidence to find. I believe Khaldoon and Pep 100 per cent. I also trust the independent auditors who have checked our books for decades.

Let's face it , it is the only way they can stop us , our income streams are the one of best in europe , our transfer dealings very savvy and we are a well run ship , in fact the best run football club in the world , our success is now a generatonal thing we are self sufficient and do not need massive investment from our owners.
UEFA and the usual supsects did their best ,but its over , we have fought them every inch of the way and won , we are now an established top six european club and nothing thrown at us via the media , UEFA , Premier league etc. is going to matter one jot.
Get used to our club being at the top and competing for honours , most of us have done the hard miles and supported our club through some trying times , and our loyalty and support is being rewarded , the Rags and Dippers claim to be the best fans , but their loyalty has never been tested like ours , they are lightweights in comparison. It would be a disaster for PL, they are doing it to satisfy the selected few. The fact that even PL wants this to be a private case not public tells you everything.
They will run down this investigation until the time limit hits and it expires.
