I actually thought he didn't play that well. And he still scored twice. Imagine how good he will be when he plays well and it all clicks together.

We are going to dish out some real hidings this season and I'm pretty sure Utd are going to get one.

Aguero was absolutely rapid when he arrived, the injuries in 2012/13 took a yard off and then the big hamstring injury under Pellegrini took another couple.

By the time Pep arrived he was quick enough and that's about it, but at Atletico and in his first season he was absolutely rapid. Would have loved to see that Sergio play for Pep, I think a lot of fans don't realise what we lost out on because of those recurring muscle injuries in his early 20s, he would have won ballon d'ors.

That’s absolutely right. Sergio’s career was very like Michael Owen’s: he had lost his electric pace by his mid 20s and had to adapt his game. He was never as lethal without the ability to burst past people but was still a great finisher so carried on getting goals, but not as many as he could have got.

There is a risk, of course, that the same will happen with Haaland if he gets a bad one or two. But as it stands I think he has even more attributes than Sergio had at that age.

People are forgetting Sergio's debut.
2 goals ( from open play) and an assist.
Plus plain black boots. So on that basis Sergio is better.

Halaand has the potential to be better than Sergio, but that's all we can conclude.

Definitely availability bias been displayed.

As Darth Sidious once said , "I will watch your career with great interest". With regards to Halaand.

Hypothetically if Haaland started all 38 games I think you could bet on at least 35 goals. Not that we'd want him doing that of course.
