You will of course remember we lost last year and played equally as rusty....Haaland will prove to be far better than Nunez or Gabby by the WC break don't worry.

We need to play to his strengths , his movement in the first half was superb we just didnt give him the ball , he will score for fun when we can get the ball to him in the right areas.

Two way street - not that people will see it.
Haaland has things to learn, the rest of the side have to adjust from the way we've played the last 2 seasons.
The one KDB missed pass first half creates a goal in a months time

My preference would be to start Alvarez next week with Erling. It just felt like the two suited one another.

He was direct as soon as he came on. A lot of our players today played it safe

Two six-yard misses are a damning mark on his performance, not an extenuating circumstance.

Nobody is going to be happy with him missing sitters but you specifically called out VVD as if he had Haaland in his pocket. Not even close to being true.

Haalands biggest strength, of which he has many, is his mentality. That game will fuel his fire.
