Reading that assessment by Swiss Ramble of the Glazers financial impact on the rags,I am reminded of something that Ed Woodentop said: “Performance on the pitch doesn’t really impact what we can do on the commercial side of the business.” (Roughly quoted)
If he truly believed that (and I think he did) there could be no greater demonstration of their ignorance of the footy business.
