yep, this is my big worry, I think people are only thinking about their own situation at the momnet as they should, but once it dawns on them the impact on the rest of the people and businesses outside of their sphere it will be catastrophic.If the government don't intervene, I can't imagine any pub or restaurant will be able to afford to trade, and half of their customers wouldn't be able to afford to go out anyway. We're not heading for a recession we're heading for a 30s style depression unless the government has some serious plans to get us out of this. Even Truss should be able to see that a penny off tax or abandoning the NI rise isn't even going to touch the sides.
