Was offside anyway so would have made a dofference if he’d smashed it in like Coutinho didHe did he hammered a shot wide when a player at the top of his game should have least forced a save from the keeper

Yep you could see it a mile off. Fucking blatant. That’s why we need a timekeeper like in rugby, this absolute nonsense whereby the referee can decide how much to add on is wank. Cut the playing time to an hour or even eighty minutes, but the clock only runs when the ball is in play. Villa started with the time wasting straight from the off and got worse as the game progressed.
Villa tried to have a go in this match ?45 minutes of that 90 was spent dicking around with the ball between Stones, Dias and the keeper
were getting slower every fucking week and our away form is shocking
any team that is prepared to go head to head and have a go will more than likely get something out of the game
Arse are looking decent play a high energy game well organised and can at least fucking defend
Foden should have been subbed
I am for sure excited for Erling and the performance of the team in overall, but every one is talking about it so, why should I? I am not going to add anything to it. I am happy and enjoying the performance of the team so far, but not happy that from one shot we in most of the cases concede a goal. I have been a member in this forum since 2008, and normally do not share my point of view, but I am fed up with a goalkeeper performance. Sorry if your think it is ridiculous.Listen I know you like pointing out the negatives, that's completely fine but don't put ridiculous posts and not expect someone to pull you and say hang on a minute.
We're unbeaten.
Nope? You not interested in that.
Erling on 10 goals already?
No? That doesn't excite you?
The new breed of City fan fuckin get on my nerves.
I certainly don’t think we need to go back to the drawing board EB. We’ve got a point away from home whilst not being 100%. That’ll be fine this season where 85-88 points will be enough. We’re in a bit of a transition and will still piss the league.Bad day at the office. Time to sit down at the drawing board and start again.
We are City we will rise and fight again.
If that makes me a happy clappy so be it. I’m not prepared to give up on or completely castigate a team who played the way they did on Wednesday. Maybe this was a come down after the euphoria of that. It happens. We deal with it and THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD will rise again and fight another day. JMHO. :-)
No your right he is brave as a lion, he will throw himself at the feet of players all the time. Again you are not wrong about him not being at fault for any of the goals last season it's just that he hasn't made any world class saves for a long time.Fair enough. Does the one on one save tonight not count?
It would have done if we hadn’t conceded afterwards.
Was offside anyway so would have made a dofference if he’d smashed it in like Coutinho did
I'm not reading this. I will not read your shit anymore. No, it’s called having an opinion based on what’s in front of me. Many times I get it wrong.
In the past I’ve said Rodri isn’t good enough. I then said he was my POTY last season.
I’ve said Stones is no fucking good and gladly had to eat humble pie.
Gundo…I don’t even know where to start with him.
That’s just a few players who are in the current side (all different nationalities). Over the years I have lost count of how many players I’ve been made to look foolish by and you know what…I am big enough and daft enough to hold my hands up and say I got it wrong about them. I’ve just called Pep out in my original post because of his weird tactics/subs today. A guy that I consider to be the best manager of all time.
When we signed Mahrez I was fucking delighted (you probably aren’t aware as you hadn’t heard of City before he signed) but for the most part he has been a major letdown IMO. But fear not, when he starts to live up to his £200k+ pw wages, I will come on here and say I got it wrong and tell you that you were right all along.
You and I both have opinions but we differ because I base mine (sometimes wrongly) on what I see on the pitch and you base yours purely on Mahrez being Algerian. If he wasn’t at City you wouldn’t give a flying fuck about a club I have supported for over 40 years, so apologies if I couldn’t give a toss what you think.
No need to be like that, i just doesn't like the idea one player is above criticism. Haaland need to do better, fortunately he knows it and work even harder for it. So any criticism against him will be pointless since he have good mentality to work harder to improve his weakness of his game.
It’s Fuckin ridiculous. I can’t stand some of our ‘new’ spoilt brat fansAre some really having a go at Mahrez?
Should’ve been sold in the Summer? He was top scorer last season and is happy (no moaning or interviews) to rotate despite being one of the best wingers in Europe.
Not only that, the guy didn’t even start today. Kinell
That's a daft response .Its like judging a pilot on how many times he didn't crash land, Once is too many.Serious question when did he last lose us a game?
As far as Phil's concerned, while he hasn't been beating three men and roofing it, he's looked steady to me - immaculate touch, closing down the opposition. Easy to conflate doing a specific job with being out of form.My concern at the moment is that we just look much less of a team than we usually do, even if we are still unbeaten.
I can accept that our style of play was always going to change with Haaland coming in to the team, but we seem to have aggravated this disruption by making a load of other changes to our play which just don’t seem to be working at the moment.
For a kick off, Walker has clearly been told to play more centrally this year and get more involved in the build-up. So far this hasn’t worked and we’ve looked more vulnerable as a result, particularly against Newcastle.
Meanwhile Gundogan and De Bruyne are playing incredibly high, and don’t show much inclination to drop deep and help Rodri out. We are trying to use Haaland as a diversion and get Gundogan behind the defence, and it almost worked today. But I would question whether he has the legs to do this now, and given how high De Bruyne is playing, we’re now effectively playing with a one man midfield most of the time. This lack of numbers in midfield has been made worse by playing Bernado so far wide, and again I think this failed badly today as he was hardly in the game in the first half.
The other observation is that Foden is playing a bit deeper this year, and playing it back much more often, whereas I think he’s best playing at the very top of the pitch and attacking the space. He is in poor form at the moment, undoubtedly, but I don’t think all the changes around him have helped.
I do wonder whether losing Lillo as Pep’s assistant in the summer is going to be a bit more of a loss than has been acknowledged. He was obviously a bit of an enigma, particularly as he didn’t speak a word of the Queen’s, but so far we’ve looked shaky at the back and less cohesive as a team, and we did improve significantly defensively when he was appointed.
Call yourself a blue?! ;-)I'll have a toke later..then hopefully I'll make sense of that.
