Formula 1 2022

Cheers for the clarification.

Just got the impression the director fancies her.

I think they do the "family" shots to try and up the tension, but since Hamilton's dad stopped going to races they don't really have anyone else to look nervous about him.

Is there a reason for this.. Him not having his family there? I only remember his brother and dad being there and his mum occasionally.

It's a massive commitment to spend 9 months a year of your life following someone around the world and they'll have done it since about 2003/4 when he was in GP3.

They still pop up at big races, but I guess they have lives of their own to live.

I suspect them appearing every week again will be a sign he's about to retire.

That's it now. U tried to give F1 a 2nd chance but the cheating from Red Bull is nauseating. Will spend my Sunday afternoon at the gym, city or walks. Fuck F1

Another good TV spectacle for Liberty Media at least.

After Spa and today. I do wonder if Hamilton might say fuck it. If he's lost the team it's time to go.

It does make a mockery of the sport, and so blatant as well.

Got to feel for LH there as the team would have told him that the strategy was for GR to be his rear gunner. GR obviously had other plans which then left him defenceless. Will we see any good will from LH going forward?

Once again, Ferari prove to be a basket case while MV proves that RB have everything in the right place, even the sister team.

Not as bad a race as I thought it would be, just let down by a certain team prepared to do anything to win a race, bringing the whole integrity issue into play, especially after the final qualifying incident with Perez.

It may go the other way. Nothing will drive him on more than being done over by his team mate.

If I were Lewis I'd want to deck Russell and Toto.

It’s a really interesting dynamic of F1 being both a team and individual sport at the same time.

It must take a strong mindset not to overreact in situations like this though.

I also don’t think Russell did anything wrong. He made the right strategy call for himself. It’s Merc who screwed Hamilton over by not putting him on the soft tyre and then allowing George to pit.

Just watching the Ch 4 coverage and they are having no qualms in calling that farce from the AT, telling everybody that it’s not lost on them that they are the sister team and that the investigation after the race will be accompanied by comedic music.

May watch this rather than the race in the future, at least they are honest and not just protecting the brand like Sky.

If your a Verstappen fan you’ll be loving this season and last as Hamilton fan it’s shite[emoji16]
As a fan of F1 I think that the sport has become rather tarnished. There have always been shenanigans by the teams but when the organisers seem to be joining it it makes a mockery of the whole spectacle. A few in orange will doubtless disagree. Doesn't sit well with my sense of fair play.

Max has not done anything wrong here as far as I can tell though.
