She made promises about her reign when she was 25 years old. She kept those promises to the word. Duty to the nation every day. How many of us made promises when we were young and lived them every day of our lives?

Whilst never a Royalist, she was clearly a great woman. Never put a foot wrong. I guess now the Commonwealth will go, Scotland will be independant and a united Ireland. The Queen held it together.

Not sure that all those changes will happen. All those countries who removed the monarch as their head of state are still in the commonwealth. As for the UK, I am not a fan of the union so Scotland may become independent for all I care. As for Ireland, a united country would be to my taste but it won’t happen unless the unionist majority wishes it.
