Yes, the Royal family do live in gilded cages shielded from the day to day toil of most of us, (not unlike some footballers) but when heads of state from other countries come to visit where would you have them meet?
It's a bit special being invited to 'The Palace' I think.

It’s as though people have differing opinions.

Most are respectful and shocked at the news. Its the selective decision making that impacts some and not others that is baffling.

I predicted what is happening now would be the case when postponements were first suggested.
The occasion would have been honoured respectfully at City jointly with Spuds.

It looks like there is something in the fact a certain Club may not have done the same and caused outrage and embarrassment to the game as being a factor in the decision.
You don't openly boo the National Anthem for years (God save the Queen dont forget) and suddenly change because the Queen has passed.
