Chelsea-Liverpool, United-Leeds, Brighton-Palace all off, rest of the games on (pg 128)

I've been working on a new shot for my bars that have red, white and blue layered so I can knock them out to the gullib.. er, I mean patriotic Brits over here, all for the bargain price of €5.
Surprised aftershock haven’t brought out a special edition.

They’ll be the first club to be at home on TV on Tuesday now. If the PL really have factored the ferality of the scousers into account, they’ve fucked up big time as now they’re going to be centre stage on one of their special nights under the lights at Klanfield.
It’s good is this
They can either get some class and show us and maybe gain some respect
or they can boo and show the world what a set of dicks they are and then lose what sympathy they may have
Either way it’s up to them

Tuesday's game isn't in the PL though
No, but cancelling the matches because they were scared what some Liverpool fans would do just kicks the can down the road for a few days as they’ll show themselves up to be disrespectful cunts on Tuesday instead. That’s assuming a miracle doesn’t happen in that none of them spoil any tributes.

I think they’ll be fine. They do it for attention more than in true belief.

Their need to be shown to be “special” will outdo their need to be cheeky chappies in this instance.

Then they’ll belt out YNWA and there’ll be the 92 minutes of respectful silence that they have at every home game under the lights.

Most are respectful and shocked at the news. Its the selective decision making that impacts some and not others that is baffling.

I predicted what is happening now would be the case when postponements were first suggested.
The occasion would have been honoured respectfully at City jointly with Spuds.

It looks like there is something in the fact a certain Club may not have done the same and caused outrage and embarrassment to the game as being a factor in the decision.
You don't openly boo the National Anthem for years (God save the Queen dont forget) and suddenly change because the Queen has passed.

Unless your Trevor Sinclair.

We all know what they are going to do. However, the media will scousewash it away again as they always do. Going to take some doing though.

Seen very few houses or shops displaying any flags or royal memorabilia this morning on my travels , the narrative of national mourning that the media are forcing down our throat seems way off the mark.
I’m not sure putting up flags is associated with mourning, but agree there’s not an overwhelming sense of grief across the nation. Sadness, yes, but someone of the queen’s age dying isn’t the shock that a younger person dying would be. Life goes on, and the football games should’ve too. A misjudgement by the Premier League and FA.

Since there is no football this weekend, I suggest watching ( The Figo affair ) on netflix.

It will give you another reason to hate Madrid.

Absolutely. The worse brainwashing culprits have been TalkSport radio, or as they are known here, TalkShite Radio. Just about everyone there is calling for the cancellations and all we hear there is how everyone loved the queen. It has become TalkQueen radio. After a day of this, I tried BBC 5 Live Radio and found presenters there completely different. To my surprise, most were against cancellations. The lovely Queen banners at the Oval Cricket Ground today show that this is the best way to respect the Queen. Not running away as the FA did.
