I’ve watched some of the TV commentary and thought how dignified the Scotland part of the proceedings were, the only thing I found hard was this evening in St Giles when all four of her children had to stand and pay homage to there mother as the public clonked past. No amount of money prestige or status would have persuaded me to do that when my Mother died.
They give up so much privacy don’t they ?

huge numbers are turning out to walk past the coffin. Apparently the numbers at the weekend could be some of the largest ever seen. 5 miles queues.

I worked in London for a short amount of time and it was a nightmare when any event was on. I wouldn’t see the point of going to work. Reckon lots of London games will be cancelled

A lot of people will go down to London wanting to pay their respects. I'm concerned that there maybe too many and some very emotional royalists will blow their tops in grief should they not be able to visit her in the alloted time.

At work, staff have been told to prepare for high passenger numbers going down to London by train.
