Great to see him back to form. Instinctive, class finishing and ran himself into the ground.

He started the season a bit shakey (probably down to not having a preseason with the rest of the squad) but has been in fine form lately. I think he is starting to take his game to the next level

Great movement and finishing from Phil today. He is so much more dynamic than Mahrez and has surely made right wing his own for big matches. Great combinations with KdB too.

The way he always cleanly directs his first touch goals reminds sooooo much of the player who took a young Phil Foden under his wing — David Silva.

Sensational talent.
He is starting to delay his passes until just the right moment similarly, as well.

Indeed. This was something that a near-prime David Silva was perfecting in Doain at Valencia, and ultimately perfected in England for City.

Phil is really going in a good way and it’s no joke. Is long as he keeps that fire and flame to not be second-best, Foden will evolve into levels unseen by British midfielders past.

Phil Foden marks the start of British talents being Tecnico was bringing a physical make sure whether the strength or speed. Pressure a brute force delivered results in the old game, we’re players who we’re phys technical just like the talents on the continent and even more so, as in the case of Phil Foden

Sometimes, a player lifts those around them in the pursuit of excellence. Arguably, we now have the two best young players in the world and they can really push each other into realms that the game may not have witnessed. What a time to be a blue and to witness this.
