Same here. Must be a dream come true getting a hat trick against the Rags. Most of us can only dream.I luv Phil, what a player,he was at his best today.
Just gotta love him.

Last hat trick for City was an Irish player in the 1960s, can't think of the name though. @Gary James is your boy here.It seemed like he was taking out all of his frustration on the Rags. Glorious. Anyone know who was the last Manc to score a hat-trick in a derby?! Me neither.
Could also just be that he hates Liverpool and United?Fodens best 2 games for us have come against Liverpool and United, games where he played on the right rather than the left. Hopefully Jack can sort his form out and nail down that left hand side to give is the option for foden on thr right
It was Franny Lee in 1970Last hat trick for City was an Irish player in the 1960s, can't think of the name though. @Gary James is your boy here.
Ah, maybe I'm wrong so, cheers. Was just off the top of my head from an article when Stephen Ireland was still playing for us.It was Franny Lee in 1970
It was the match where that bastard Best ended the career of, and nearly killed, Pardoe.Ah, maybe I'm wrong so, cheers. Was just off the top of my head from an article when Stephen Ireland was still playing for us.

I was there.
OTD: City hammer United at Old Trafford
Forty-five years ago today, Francis Lee bagged a hat-trick asamp.sportsmole.co.uk
He has always had an eye for goal.from day one.Think he'll be close to 20 league goals this season, seems to have more of an eye for goal.
Agreed. Let's be honest, Merlins best goals for City were the nutmeg executed on the doughnut theif in the sick swan,a brilliant effort against a dodgy WHU in a pre season game in China( how he scored that one I still don't know)..a classy mazy dribble against a poor blackpool side at bloomfield( 1st match afted Big Mals passing,i was there) and another stunner away at Hull City....Yep. As much as I love Merlin, scoring goals wasn't close to being his main attribute.
Foden was incredible yesterday and my man of the match, which is some going when you consider how well Haaland played. He was all over the pitch and put in a serious shift in defence as well as in attack.
Pep leaking final strat for CL final already lol.
Tbh i can see Pep seems think that way, he can potentially be great in inverted left-back. Even left wingback.
Remember this is Pep possession based system, the most unique and the best. Football works different here.

As Foden’s from Stockport I guess we’re talking about Greater Manchester. In that case it’s Franny Lee who was last from Greater Manchester to score a hat trick. Also last City player too.Last hat trick for City was an Irish player in the 1960s, can't think of the name though. @Gary James is your boy here.
Apparently the only other one was Horace Barnes in 1921 who was born in Sheffield. Seems odd that there were only 2 hattricks scored before last weekend.Ah, maybe I'm wrong so, cheers. Was just off the top of my head from an article when Stephen Ireland was still playing for us.
Not true. That's an interesting fun fact I wouldn't have guessed, mentioned in today's match v Copenhagen.
Foden scored his first 50 career goals quicker than Lionel Messi did!
