Thought Pep was very smart, the way we essentially gave up the midfield and overloaded the flanks.

The last time I saw that was in the Champions League second leg defeat to Liverpool, we gave them a chasing too.

Gundo, Bernie and Kev all made up the triangle with the wide players and full-backs.

Well done Phil and Erling, terrorised them. Akanji, excellent.

Minor irritations, Cancelo so sloppy, Eddie terrible with the clipped ball to the full-back he put out of play every time.

That was my initial feeling but we made our point when they pulled one back. Got it to 6-1 and then 4 changes made with 15 to play which included Foden, Gundogan, De Bruyne and Grealish for Alvarez, Palmer, Mahrez and Laporte to rest legs and their goals were only due to that. We destroyed them and they know it.

Long month, plenty of games to come. No need to chase 10 goals. They were battered.
