Ref Watch

As much as I hate to say this, but the shirt pull is a foul. I think we would all be seriously pissed off if it had stood against us.
I wouldn't, contact had been going on all game and Haaland was unbalanced due to the initial challenge by Fabinho.
If that was a foul the game would just be 90 minutes of free kicks and penalties.

It’s City mate,so we have our goals scrutinised more than any other team looking for any reason possible to disallow them,as soon as we scored the wife and 2 sons were celebrating,I knew just knew it,they would review it and disallow it ..

I didn't celebrate it either mate, it's Anfield as Pep says, they seem to find any reason to rule it out. I thought they were going to go with the Haaland-Alisson challenge, they somehow found another bullshit excuse though.

Yes LFC players all rallied around the Allison incident. None seemed bothered about what it was chalked off for

I disagree. The way the game was refereed, I cannot see how that was any worse than many, many other 'fouls' that went unpunished. Look at the clear and obvious pushes on Foden for comparison.

I’ll be honest the Haaland - Alisson one i thought looked more of a reason to disallow the goal than the Haaland- Fabinho tussle/shirt tug ..

The 2 clear pushes on Foden did it for me
Milner non 2nd yellow last season, Sterlings offside goal that was proved onside after the game, Taylor letting them foul at will in the same game where they should have been down to 9, the laughable penalty for handball in the charity shield which with the new rules was not handball and today. There are always key decisions in these games and they only ever benefit one team

It's not a foul just by the standard he set during the game. You can't ref by one standard for 99% of the game, but then ref by a totally different standard when VAR get involved.

And if he'd been letting fouls go all game and let one go against us I wouldn't have a problem at all.

Was pissed off when Alty blew the whistle to send Klipperty off.
City were on a fast attack and he blew. He had absolutely no reason to halt the game to do that. That could have waited until the ball went out of play.
Yes didn’t get that decision at all. It hasn’t even warranted a mention on the football phone ins.
Annoying listening to Livarpool fans on way home saying that every decision went against them and moaning that pep should control himself if he doesn’t want coins thrown at him

The whole point of football is to watch your team score a goal. It fills you with happiness and joy after a stressful week at work. VAR just finds as many ways as it can to chalk a goal off.
Exactly this, football will kill itself with this, the whole point of football is scoring more goals than the other team, why bring something in that seems designed to stop goals .

All game Taylor let things go, some much worse than that, neville and tyler kept saying how "great" it was, and I agreed, and then we score, and yes there is a shirt tug in the build up, so it had to be "no goal" after a review.

It's nonsense really.
