Not looking good, he needs a lot of training and games.I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that we won't see him start for the first team before the FA Cup 3rd round.

He spoke really well. He's on the Monday Night Club on 5live tonight from 730pm for half n hour, should be interesting.
Will be on the bench tomorrow and possible start on Saturday. He has some bad luck with injuries, let's hope he can finally kick start his City career. Not looking good, he needs a lot of training and games.
It's looking good for him, an appearance on Wednesday and no setbacks I would think he is certain of a WC place. Will be on the bench tomorrow and possible start on Saturday. He has some bad luck with injuries, let's hope he can finally kick start his City career.
Yeah he sounds a really down to earth lad who has his family to support him and keep him grounded. He spoke really well.
Said he thought he could play but turned up at City and realised that he 'had work to do!'
They asked if he was nervous before his first training session. He said, 'No!' but was nervous after it because he realised how good everyone was.
Basically thought he'd been bought to challenge Rodri but Pep told him he was there to challenge all the midfielders.

Thought he looked decent tbhGood to see him back on the pitch. Understandably off the pace and that cameo should put paid to any speculation about him going to the World Cup. Lad needs game time off the bench for us, probably up to March, but should prove invaluable when we get to the business end of the season.
It was a decent cameo but he got caught out of position a few times, enthusiasm taking him ahead of the ball, and he was left for dead at one point when chasing back. That’s not criticism, just the lack of sharpness and fitness you would expect from a player returning after a sustained lay off. If he’s named in England’s World Cup squad, it would be a simply ridiculous decision and one based on past sentiment not the current reality, as he is nowhere near ready.Thought he looked decent tbh
No I agree he wasn’t faultless, but under the circumstances I was impressed how much he did do and could fit in. It’s not just a return from injury, it’s that he’s played so few minutes for us period, never mind the injury. It was a decent cameo but he got caught out of position a few times, enthusiasm taking him ahead of the ball, and he was left for dead at one point when chasing back.
