2022 World Cup Discussion

At the last minute Qatar are now trying to ban ALL alcohol at the WC.
As Bud have paid FIFA many millions for the sole rights this could get interesting.

I've read that Budweiser have had to move their beer stalls to less prominent places,not seen anything about a ban though.
12 quid for a pint of Bud !
They should ban them for piss take pricing.

They are idiots, want to host the greatest competition of all but aren't willing to make compromises. Good luck trying to pressure Fifa given the sponsorship from breweries.

In that Gary Neville documentary the Qatri minister of sport confirmed there will be no alcohol served in stadiums, alcohol is only available in hotels and fan parks.

Think they are trying to ban advertising alcohol in stadiums and that's what Budweiser are unhappy about
