Do you think? Surely, like any job, normal employment laws are applicable and he has indeed been found guilty of gross misconduct. I think they may have conceded ground on the wording, but he was sacked and probably wasn’t owed anything in return.

I'd contest it in the high courts, a lingering, damaging case, I'm sure Sheikh Mansour would love to foot the bill.
