Bernard is the worry for meMahrez won't be going anywhere with the contract he signed in the summer, he is happy with what he has left of his career with us.
I do think Gundo and Bernie will be off and that is the carrot, similar to Erling replacing Sergio that we are using.
It would also remove a massive wedge from our wage bill and essentially cover the Jude wages.
If Gundo has an attractive offer from a club on the continent, he would be well within his rights to wait until the end of the season before deciding if an extension is what he would like.
City would naturally accommodate him.
We have to be looking further ahead than just those two?
Kev is 31 and has maybe another 18 months as a guaranteed starter.
I want Bernie to stay more than anything.

Bellingham replaces Gundo
But who replaces Bernardo this summer....not replacing him eoukd be a mistake and Bellingham doesn't cover that. We either move Foden inside and buy a wide player or buy a player to replace Bernarfo directly.....and there isn't one that has all his attributes.
Mahrez is going to have to put up with being a lesser squad player if that's the situation with him
Not good enough to clean Bernardo's boots.felix?
Aren't we all posting under fake identifies?Well they are posting on here under fake identities so I guess the foaming has already started
Thought that was your real name tbhAren't we all posting under fake identifies?
Hopefully we buy a pacy winger, like Leao, and move Phil/Jack inside more often.Bernard is the worry for me

I've never seen such certainty from fans of 2 competing sides over a player. The outcome will be talked about and weaponised for many years.Liverpool fans are beyond convinced he will sign for them. Even if personal terms can be agreed, Dortmund will want their 150m euros. Thats where it could get very hot for Liverpool.

I’ve been told that the Bellingham saga has a long way to go and not to get too excited that he’s coming to city. Obviously I hope it’s not true.
I only believe the good news from ITK [emoji38]
Who is this "every fucker" ??..not seem them post before ;-) I am following TH on this one.seems every fucker knows someone about this deal........ ;-)
Didn't they double the world record fee for a goalkeeper that had only been set the previous year? Don't they have the world's most expensive centre back in their squad (that they outbid City for)? Didn't they just spend over £85m on a one season wonder striker?Liverpool never spend that kind of money on players. It's not how they do things and I just don't see it. I can only see them doing a deal if a couple of players go the other way to make up the bulk of a transfer, perhaps Naby Keita and someone else.
They won't be able to sign anyone if that takeover happens, their finances will take a massive hit as they'll be playing in an empty stadium every other week as all their morally upright fans with their deep knowledge of the sociopolitical, religious and economic nuances of the Middle East will be boycotting them.Liverpool have never had a Saudi-Qatari joint takeover though, which is sounding as though it’s in the pipeline.

I'm not saying you're wrong in that they may not have the money at this particular point to go big, especially after blowing a wad on Juande Carroll, but this whole "Liverpool don't spend big money" and "Liverpool can't compete with City on wages" is clearly absolute nonsense (the season they were given the league title their wage bill was higher than ours).
I understand the Gerrard hate but I am a passionate England fan too, plus he did a great job of winding up my Villa mates who couldn't wait to tell me that his arrival was a sign that the club were back in the bigtime when they got him!
May not mean much to you bit generally Villa fans are the worst in the Midlands, probably how you see Liverpool fans I'd imagine?
