Not hate, just logical assessment of his value - likable lad but ......whilst the £100m tag is not his fault realistically he is a good squad player, doesn't lose the ball too much, draws a good few fouls...but that's no where near a £100m player. What do you mean it doesn’t help us going forward? If you mean on the pitch, we won the league last season after signing him and are well placed this season. If you mean in terms of our transfer strategy/policy going forward, that is also plainly wrong. We have had a huge net influx of transfer money since we signed him and picked up several bargains last summer. So, your assertion that £100 million is our benchmark for an alright squad player is demonstrably wrong.

So what do you mean, doesn’t help us going forward? How has his signature hampered us going forward? Can you give examples, given he was signed about 18 months ago. They should have manifested themselves by now.
