Would love to know how Peps derby stats stack up against some former City Managers. Seems like Ole had the hex on him but City used to get some good results in the GPC era.
It does seem under Pep we have provided the scum with some undeserving encouragement whereas I can only handle them being ground into the dirt .

Rumour I heard is that there are a number of unhappy players in the camp at present ….
The performance level is more down to some not allegedly wanting to give ‘their all’ for Pep any more.
Not quite at the Mancini situation prior to cup final…. But not far off

That wouldn't suprise me tbh. There's definitely some underlying issues

Entirely possible but it would surprise me. Pep has always said he wouldn't sign another contract if he didn't believe he had the backing of everyone.

Now of course, the players may not necessarily be unhappy with Pep, it could be external factors which are turning the mood.

Its well known Bernardo wants out, Cancelo was involved in a robbery so maybe his family want out, Foden/Grealish/Mahrez probably all think they should play more, Gundogan is in his final year so how much does he want it or has he already picked out a house in Barcelona and so on.

Training pictures from today told a different story.

For all the whiners and bedwetters. Try to keep your collective shit together, maybe you should instead get into netball or something else but City fans who've been in it for the long haul know this is just another season, and we're on track.

I cant remember which years there above we won the title but does it matter cos we won it loads, with Pep, the man some idiots want gone.
We often seem to have a wobble in December/January but usually fix whatever’s wrong

My dad who’s watched City for 70 of years is comparing this season to when we bought Rodney Marsh. He disrupted the flow of team and ultimately lost the title to Liverpool. Haaland is world class but unless Pep finds a way to integrate him and not feed off scraps which he has barring a few games, the home derby fir one we look more fluid when he’s not there the Chelsea game.
I'm getting the words............

Rodney Asprilla:-)
I knew this would come up eventually when I posted it back in November.

Not happy it did mind.

Bunch of moronic soft arses in here. Trying desperately to get rid of Pep because we lost a couple of games. Who needs fans like this?

Pathetic reasoning to justify trying to get the great man to leave. Change is not a good thing most of the time and does not work. So who will take charge? And when that person gets sacked in 12 months who next?

Only a direct challenger wants pep gone. Oh and the media and every rag/scouse pundit. Total bullshit. Get behind our most successful manager

Who are these posters big blue or are you telling porkies?

My eyes are open, and I aint shitting myself over it. I leave that to the moaners and worriers.

We've got half a season left to play.

Some key players keep on picking up injuries, others look burnt out. New guys are still finding their footing. Pep absolutely deserves the benefit of the doubt. It's very easy to be reactionary.

It's even easier to do nothing at all. (Not that I want pep out...just pep c.2018 back)

I wonder how important Cucurella was to how we would've played this year, the club gave him Gomez and he doesn't use him. We know from the summer he wanted a top class left back and the club didn't deliver that for him.
It screwed up everything.

- No matter if you take Grealish as a good player or not, his career at Villa and England all suggest he plays at best with an overlapping left back. Screwed up his confidence.
- Cancelo does not have a back up option. He is overplayed and also taken his spot for granted without a quality left back pushing him.
- When Walker was out of the squad, some center backs had to fill into the fullback spot. It affected the winger ahead's performance and also brought injury risk to the makeshift fullback because their body were not really built for running up and down. No one wanted that before WC.
- Bernado had to run even more and dropped back deeply when Ake filled the left back spot.
- No cross from left touchline to find Halaand. So just defend the cross from KDB at the right hand side.
- Gomez red card at Copenhagen away made the rest of the starting xi tired at Anfield.

And to make it worse, Gomez agent is Pep's brother. The unhappy players affected probably question if nepotism is there. Both Cucurella and Gomez were Barca product. It seems that Pep is determined to get a Barca left back while ignoring all other easy solutions, like Sosa, etc.

I cannot understand why the board does not rent or buy a LB to fill the hole this winter window to get Pep some support. He must have ask for one when signing the contract? If he did not ask, I can understand why the dressing room was not happy.
