And has the quality with it. Reminds me of Tevez and if Alvarez has even half the ability he did (which he does, obviously) then we have some player. Get him tied down!

He has this wierd ability when hes in full sprint closing a player downdown, to then kick into another gear which catches the player off guard and pinches the ball.

And he's got a much better finishing ability.

As good as Haaland is upfront he's limited and i think Alverez is far more versatile a player. Going off what I've seen i think he could easily make it as a midfield attacker, and could possibly fill Bernardo's boots after next summer when he's most likely to leave. As long as Haaland is here he'll be our main striker so it currently limits playing time for Alvarez as our CF.

I like Alvarez as a player but his first touch is a little clumsy and not in the same league as Bernie’s. A far better finisher though.
