was bored and watched another benfica game today. no doubt he is world class already. never seen a more complete midfielder. it was like a football genius playing with kids which is funny because objectively he is probably the least experienced player of anyone in european football. a 21 year old football genius.

Because Chelsea wanted to pay the fee over 10 years or something stupid and a lot of incentives than would probably never be met were included in the price.

Pay the price in full and the player is yours, just like we had to do with Grealish.

Can't say I'll put much stock in his scouting of Argentinian players going forward. Of course, I also don't know his latest username hmmmmm

I have already said this enzo will transform the midfield of any top team even madrid and us and put it a level or two above. he should be our number 1 midfield target beyond the likes of overpriced bellingham and such. if he goes to our PL rivals he will single handily make their midfield rival us.
 
for those who doubt enzo being the most complete midfielder. let me show you a small sample. for example this was his stat last game.

Enzo Fernandez had more touches (126), completed more passes (85), completed more accurate long balls (10/15), more successful tackles (6), won more total duels (12/15) and completed more successful take-ons (3/3) than any other Benfica player against Santa Clara.





and here are the highlights of that game.
