that could work but doubt he is willing to move this early in his career. if we are willing to pay 150 mil for bellingham, paying less than that for a better player in enzo is a no brainer.

let us see if you say the same thing when enzo moves to one of our PL rivals and tears up the league and we miss out on being champions. it is simple we should buy and have the best players that come to our league if we want to stay on top.

edit: besides there is no bias from my side seeing argnetina has the best players in the world especially compared to say england when you can see how they have performed on the international stage and proving how overrated they are. so favoring argentine players has nothing to do with bias but objective reality.

both are special players I agree, but there are some differnces. enzo is already world class while bellingham is potential. enzo is a complete midfielder who can dominate a game in all phases of play. bellingham is a more specialized midfielder who has some specific skills especially in the attacking transistion, ball carrying. if it comes to one or the other there is a clear winner unless you have a bias towards media hype.

simple reason why we signed grealish. english teams have english bias and english marketing to worry about. we need to rise above it if we are to stay at the top.

I prefer Enzo personally, but I won't fault those who think otherwise. And I don't consider Enzo World Class yet. I think he'll be when he does it playing for us. But he isn't yet.

When I signed up to talk about the Julian transfer, I reccomended this guy too. The total package for a midfield. He can play as a 6, 8 and 10 and be elite at every single one of those positions. Only 6 months in Europe and already one of the best midfielders in the World. If City gets him, I might as well just buy a City jersey and consider travelling for a game.

I am surprised Benfica haven't taken the 85m. A huge profit for them and allows them to reinvest in several others they can sell in 12mths.

Enzo is hardly going to lead Benfica to the CL and his stock will probably never be higher.

They actually do think they can win the CL and it is precisely because of Enzo. Benfica won't let Enzo go for less than the release clause. Not now, not in the summer either.
