Feel sorry for him there. Worked so hard, can't help thinking that keeping him at rb and Ake at lb where they've both been playing well and playing walker CB made more sense.

He did his best and was ok, but Ake has been sensational at left back. Stupid move from pep. Lewis has great attributes but he got outmuscled today and he just doesnt have the strength to play in the middle against some teams.

He‘s a great talent, and has done superbly given his age and (in)experience. But he‘s not yet at a level where he should be starting most matches, certainly not in that ‚inverted‘ role alongside Rodri.

Poor poor kid being made to play out of his position against a top 4 side away match. Hope you're happy pep

Exposed physically today and bullied to an extent. Can’t blame the kid but he’s not sharp enough yet physically or mentally. If he’s 100% switched on (and maybe more used to our pattern of play) he anticipates the ball from Rodri and gets his body in the way

Agree with most that he was thrown to the wolves today and Spurs targeted that side, but he will have learnt an awful lot today from that which will surely bode well for the lad going forward

Bollocks, It was a ridiculous pass, 100% blame on Rodri.

The poor lad was simply a pawn in Pep's conflict with Cancelo, he deserves no blame whatsoever.
What a load of shite, he played ahead of Cancelo on merit

A team player wouldn't have thrown his toys out of the pram after a month of being out of favour. Pep was 100% in the right to let him leave

How about playing either of the top class international CBs we have at CB?!

He played ahead of Cancelo a RB mate not LB, this was the first time ever he's played there for us, go ahead and explain to me why then especially considering Ake's performance against Arsenal last week ?

Moving Ake and Lewis to accommodate Walker was just madness. He fucks about with the defence was too much.

He's played well enough when selected that Pep thinks he can do the same job on either side

He's a tryer and loves to get stuck in.. Not sure he has the qualities to play centrally for us though. Then when he has to get back to fullback to defend he's not got the pace to recover. Kulusevski had about half a pitch to himself. Lucky Jack put a serious shift in or it would have been more costly.

Let him play fullback, get forward and contribute some width and be a good outball to stretch play. Inverted who isn't creative is a waste of time.

Yeah let's play a kid who never played in that position before instead of the guy who played brilliantly there against Arsenal just last week, oh and why not do it at a place where we always lose as well.
