PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Like with the CAS stuff, you get the feeling that 99% of fans and 98% of journalists won't actually have the technical training to understand what is being discussed here.

I also have the feeling that there will be some compromise where City accept they've not worked with the league because of systematic mistrust. Everyone will spin this as they see fit.

Don't expect any easy or clean guilty/not guilty courtroom drama any time soon.

It's really not the point though is it, Every single season the club is being tarnished by the heads of football.

Whatever the outcome its never a good look with the clubs name being dragged through this shit every season.

They all seem to be getting what they want and that's Manchester City not breaking up the little "elite" they've worked so hard on for a number of years.

Are any of them subject to individual legal action for fraud etc? Not sure Soriano can run the club from a jail cell.

Several of the charges seem to relate to the same allegations already thrown out by CAS, which makes me even more suspicious that this is a fishing expedition, or a case where they are throwing the kitchen sink at us in the hope something lands

I’d imagine they have one prepared, or are preparing one for later in the day. I quite like that. Playing it cool so to speak. Let everyone have their five minutes of panic from our support, giddiness from the rivals and then release it along the lines of ‘see you in court. Oh, and you’ll lose’.

You can’t say that. You don’t know the finer details of the evidence, the PL case, and our defence.
