In all the noise about these new allegations, we should take a moment to stop and remember that the FFP rules we are alleged to have broken, were corrupt to the core in the first place.
Utterly ridiculous that any owner should not be allowed to invest in order to build their business.
I think the worst he is accused of is breaking PL rules, not UK law.Are any of them subject to individual legal action for fraud etc? Not sure Soriano can run the club from a jail cell.
You don’t have the faintest fucking clue what money laundering is.it's money laundering basically
For example this
The Cas panel of three European lawyers decided by a majority 2-1, however, that it would not consider the legitimacy of those Etisalat payments, because they were made more than five years before the CFCB charges were brought in May 2019, so were “time-barred”.
I am not enjoying any of this and I am properly pissed off. I am actually shocked that these fuckers did it after 4 years of being investigated and we are literally on our own. The very fact they've done in a month when Chelsea new owners are spending like £600mil on transfer and the PL teams spent more on transfer in this winter window than other four European league put together is telling me we are fighting for our lives here.
Cunting more like!Well it beats reading your cutting remarks.
Yet!!At least they haven’t included the underreporting of the crowd for the Charlton game in 1985.
No, but you have to make accurate returns about contracts and remuneration.Ffp didn’t exist then ???
Beating the rags and dippers to multiple titles.Does anyone actually understand what the charges are? If so, can someone translate into English please
I think the timing of this tells you all you need to know. The fact that a few days ago the government says that a new independent person is going to be put in charge of it all. This is going to take years to complete and it will cost the Premier millions in legal fees. They might regret trying this on with an opponent with very deep pockets.I’ve never been one for the corrupt camp in terms of decisions against us but it does make you wonder.
You do realise that your corporate solicitor wife, unless she works for our club, would not be privvy to ANY of the background regarding these allegations. You'd be spending an hour with her speculating about 'potential' ramifications for 'potential' improprieties, just like everyone else. So yes, the OP was entirely correct when he suggested that you know very little about this.Unfortunately...MATE..I know quite lot about this. I just called my wife who is a corporate solicitor (and fucking WHU supporter) to book an hour tonight for a little talk how much shite we are in. She just giggled and said 'you are allowed to be creative until you are not'.
