PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

We need to fight these allegations in court! ‘Silence', and ‘Kicking the can down the road' is no good here, we need to wipe this slung shit off our faces, (you want to leave it there, stinking?) because if we can’t or won’t, well, it will keep coming back, and I don’t want to think about that. If not and they've had evidence of our wrongdoing for a long time, wouldn't they be duty bound to do something about it at the time rather than just carry on as if nothing was going on? Firstly to protect other clubs and secondly so we could address anything we were doing wrong and correct ourselves?

If you had this evidence 5 years ago it should have been acted on at the time.
 
What’s this government white paper on football governance? And why could it have been a catalyst for the PL charging us today of all days now it’s postponed?
