No, it means any appeal will involve suing them in the High Court. We would allege onerous behaviour, unfair practice etc. Its a double edged sword. If we won in HC, PL would be ordered to cancel the punishment and maybe rehear with an appeal rule in place. Also, they open up themselves to damages.
 
Losing out on a CL place when the team needs investing in will cost us a lot.
can’t see it happening however. Abu Dhabi has too much money invested in the UK with more to come at a time when the UK is skint.
 
I find the lack of anger/frustration with our own hierarchy on this thread mad. Soriano/Khaldoon need to answer serious questions to us.

When i didnt pull him up on it he used it about 20 times, problem is, i agree with him .

It’s weird I was only thinking the other day it’s almost exactly three years since UEFA charged us and six months later we were cleared. with COVID taking up a big chunk of the intervening years it’s pretty impressive that the Premier League had the time and resource to carry out this investigation. A bit like Putin making time to invade a country . You have to admire the tenacity. Of course it doesn’t matter what a kangaroo court decides will be our punishment we will appeal and then it will die down then Der Nazi will leak something else and we start again. SuperLeague? If we'd had a 20 point deduction, we'd have still made the Champions League in 4 of the last 5 seasons.

They'd have to make the deduction pretty hefty to keep us out of Europe.

Why? There is a process which will take years to conclude and the club has already released a pugnacious statement
Why tip the opposition to what our hand is?
