They are, in effect, claiming City deceived the PL, their auditors and multiple other bodies and filed fake accounts and fake financial forecasts. For at least 9 years. That's the extraordinary allegation.

If the PL has evidene of such stuff wouldn't it be investigated by HMRC and other government agencies instead?

I think you work in finance and accounting Colin? Do you know how long BDO have been our auditors and is it of any surprise that we don’t use one of the “Big 4” as our auditors? Which of course used to be a “Big 5” with Arthur Andersen (pre Emron)?

PB is not an accountant.

BDO are a large reputable accounting firm of long standing.

Timing is all down to that white paper and external pressures from American Owners of certain clubs up for sale.

That or they have been waiting for us to hit a rocky patch of form on the pitch and its taken 4 years for them to have the chance haha

I have worked for the same highly profitable large corporation business in a senior management role for the last 38 years.

Businesses don't make decisions or decide courses of action, Directors and senior managers do.

They actually requested jurors stand down if that was the case. It happened in Ben Stokes' trial a few years ago - any cricket fans were told to stand down.

Spot on. No point in responding. It's a feeding frenzy right now. The big issue is that people will get confused by what is speculation and what is factual. The more they hear a particular argument the more they believe it even if its based on someone with a few followers on twitter that has no accounting/legal experience. Man Utd fans don't care what it takes to get a result against City on and off the pitch. They are not called The Shits for nowt.

Why are City’s sponsors inflated? We hear it a lot but you tell me which is above market value & why?

I know you are supportive but it’s part of the myth. Has anyone considered that Etihad is lower than market value?

Regarding sponsorship, I’ve no idea but inflating deals has been alleged. Not sure the relevance of the value of the Etihad.
