Friends don’t do what they did if it’s true. They want to keep Vinnie contacts at the club in case they want us to loan them a player. They will not be a direct rival to us at any time. City will get next to nothing out of it in my opinion

They didn't have evidence. They were told in August 2019 that there was a fix in place and that involved Liverpool winning the league. He offered his help to counter that and they didn't take him up on it.

Sounds right to me. Which suggests that, like UEFA, they've really only got the Der Spiegel emails as the basis of their charges. Anything beyond that would be classed as a 'fishing expedition'.

I was talking about previous seasons. However you have alerted me to the fact that the PL must have changed tack this season and are following the UEFA example of how to increase their income.

Every club in the league gets 2 or 3 of these a season.

It's just not something anyone notices normally unless it their club.
