Certainly in defence, that's one place you want some consistency of selection and tactics but injury and squad limitations have prevented us from having that this season. Midfield and attack the benefit of being less predictable and having fresh legs balances it for me.

Last night Phillips player like someone getting sold in the summer, since TH said that we were going to do ”intresting” business with west ham, maybe we swap him with rice. In addition hope that Perrone becomes our creative midfielder?

Think maybe bowen would be the one from west ham we would target in a swap deal

No idea who will leave but left back has to be top priority. We can lose a player in the midfield positions without replacing them if needed.

I think those hoping Phillips will leave will be disappointed, we tend to give players 2 seasons and it is looking more and more like we will be in the market for 2 CM’s anyway, without needing another.

we also tend to look at the last few games and forget to factor in the 25% improvement Pep brings to the players once he's here.

True, but if you aren't good enough then you aren't good enough. I'm not saying he isn't, but we can't go into another season where we only have 1 player capable of playing Rodri's role.
