I’ve replied to the consultation giving an overwhelming’YES’ to all aspects.

On the transport front. If the club put free buses on every match taking fans into the City Centre and on each arterial route a few miles away, would this not appeal to quite a few?
- would likely reduce the number of early leavers
- immediately reduces traffic around the ground
- creates fewer traffic congestion areas
- reduces impact on local community
- reduces carbon emissions
- potentially generates new income strands at private car parks
- obviously this would have to be balanced against car crime increases in these areas but on site security would alleviate some of that

Transport is definitely one of the biggest blockers, so getting that right is essential. Other than that, exciting times ahead.

Suppose the success or failure of the Bee Network next year will have a big say on all this!

Two things.

1. Will we continue to have the screens? They aren't on the initial plans.

2. Is there no way the club/council could close Councillor Street (off Ashton New Road) and Palmerston Street to any traffic and pedestrians and make them matchday buses only to Piccadilly. Once you get to the end of Palmerston Street, there are two options to get to Fairfield Street and then piccadilly? Might make it quicker than sharing the road at present with trams, cars and thousands of people walking in the street?

Looking forward to new stand not sure about the hotel though, we already have a large and increasing number of tourists at games with their freshly bought merch the hotel will only increase this and more local fans will be pushed out

It is brilliant news that they are going ahead. It probably means that although our reputation has been damaged by the ongoing FFP bullshit it is hasn't stopped City from continuing expanding.

Responses to the concept of expanding the North Stand were positive. Expansion was seen as a further step in Manchester City’s growth, creating an opportunity to improve the fan experience.

An extended larger tier was the preference of a majority of fans, *with rail seating* available.

How do you get to turnstiles B1 and B2 from Joe Mercer way without cramming thru an indoor city sqyare/box park? It looks like a hotel is blocking any way through to the East stand from there?

get down the open days and raise these good points

I think City will relocate the screens. Too big a part of the game build up these days. Or, project to the ceilings of each stand.
