So true. Even some of our own fans sometimes say things like "when Abu Dhabi came in." This is the racist dehumanising narrative that ignores the fact the club is personally owned by Sheikh Mansour (75pc) and US-based Silverlake (25pc). Sheikh Mansour is a human being so labelling him by his nationality (or ethnicity with the Arab oil trope) is offensive.
Not even Der Spiegl accused us of being "state-owned " yet some in the media continue to repeat the lie.
You can be sure many of our fans would be just as bad if United were being investigated but we all know that the finances of MUFC and LFC will NEVER be investigated in this country where systemic corruption is rife in all sectors of society and these clubs have undue influence in all the right places.

It would have an impact on every league PGMOL officiate but if this video is fact and not fiction I am sure the leagues would distance themselves and come out with suitable statements saying they are appalled etc.

With regard to the city V PL case though they would not care and I don't personally believe it would have any impact as PGMOL are a separate organisation even if the leagues pay them. The two are separate imo and would not impact on each other and any allegations from the video would be city v PGMOL (unless it is proven there is PL interference in the decision the video relates too)

Of course, I never said it would have any impact on our case with them. We've got skip loads of evidence to put them back into their box regarding that.

Whilst I accept he’s certainly been gunning for City I actually think his target here is the PL. He’s calling them out on taking so long and questioning their credibility as that will ‘affect future deals and sponsorship’. He’s desperate to position La Ligue as the predominant European league, as it was when Madrid were spending all the cash and, if City are collateral damage he’d be delighted but he’s after the PL, no doubt.
Thing is, he’s got a point as well. IF City were proven to have ‘cheated’ their way to 6 titles, PL loses credibility. If City are proven innocent of all charges, the PL loses credibility. Tebas is ensuring that message is front and centre.
All that notwithstanding, he’s undoubtedly a c**t……

I‘m sure he does. But, taking City down doesn’t further his cause any. Taking the PL down a peg, helps Spain hugely. I was reading some quotes by the agent of the Viking yesterday and one thing she said was that players ask for Madrid in Spain but when it comes to England, they ask for the Premier League. Many aren’t too bothered where, they just want to be here and play in it and that is what really worries Tebas.

Sometimes I feel this about the charges that have been dumped on us.
It's like the Premier league saying "don't look at the favourable decisions united are getting this season, look at the champions and all that muck surrounding them".
